Today’s outfit couldn’t be more accidentally autumnal if it tried. I very rarely wear colour but when my favourite of all the spreads presents itself so beautifully across a sweater, I cant resist.
I feel like this get-up truly represents the country girl that I am. What with chelsea boots, country lanes and some seriously casual attire it’s my kinda comfort in all it’s glory.
But then there’s the bag. I’ve never had a fancy bag before. Because quite frankly, I’m not really a fancy kind of girl. I had the fear that something so pristine and beautifully made would look weird with my old black jeans and a slouchy jumper – but I wasn’t about to change up my wardrobe to accommodate it. Sometimes, we really want the fancy thing, and I think that’s okay – but let the fancy thing work with you, don’t let it change your style. This mini tote from Aspinal of London is seriously stunning, it’s strong as an ox so holds all my crap and it looks so pretty I may have shed a tear or two when it arrived. With a soft but sturdy leather and a red, silky lining it feels almost royalty worthy. I picked mine up from MyBag, the perfect place for designer handbags – and lots of other loveliness too actually, definitely have my eye on this watch (hi Christmas wishlist).

Lastly, it’s clear Rad have created the ultimate slogan sweatshirt and if you’re as enamoured as I am, you can get 20% off this and anything else on the site using my discount code Wonderful20.How do you feel about mixing something seriously snazzy with your more casual wardrobe? Are you in?
